Ashley is an associate attorney specializing in litigation, local government law, and environmental law including zoning and planning. She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association for Legal Professionals.

Kirk has worked for Thrasher, Dinsmore and Dolan previously as a law clerk. She served as an extern to Judge Solomon Oliver, Jr. as well as a legal extern for the Cleveland Metroparks. Prior to attending law school in the United States, she worked as a land-use planner for the New Zealand government, focusing on earthquake recovery.

She earned her law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020. She also has earned a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies from Cleveland State University (‘20), a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Management (‘16) as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Management and Planning from Lincoln University in New Zealand (‘14).

Though Kirk was born in Te Awamutu, New Zealand, the Kiwi now calls Geneva, Ohio home. She is content spending time with family and friends, wherever they may be located, and enjoys traveling in her time away from the office.
