Katie was awarded a full scholarship to Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and graduated in 2003. After graduation, she was employed for twelve years as a judicial staff attorney in the Lake County Court of Common Pleas for Judges Paul H. Mitrovich, Joseph Gibson, and John P. O’Donnell. In this role, Katie reviewed and analyzed cases through all stages of the litigation process and gained experience in many areas of the law, including personal injury, business/contract, employment law, criminal law, administrative appeals, and professional negligence. Upon leaving the Court, Katie provided legal research and writing services to private practice attorneys in a wide array of litigation matters.
Katie uses her significant experience in legal research and writing and her unique perspective regarding the judicial process to provide support to her fellow attorneys at the firm. She is an active member of the Lake County Bar Association and teaches Paralegal Studies courses at Lakeland Community College. A lifelong resident of Lake County, Katie resides in Willoughby with her husband and two children.
