For Recent Law School Graduates
Our firm provides the opportunity to be involved in diverse areas of law while also being able to focus on specific practice areas that interest you. We will assist in helping each of our new attorneys pursue their chosen path.
To provide a broad range of exposure to different facets of the law, we do not limit new attorneys to specific practice groups. Instead, we provide the opportunity to remain flexible and handle numerous tasks over many areas of law. We encourage new attorneys to focus on developing and refining their legal skills with support from our more seasoned associates and partners. Whatever path you choose, we are dedicated to your success.
For Lateral Attorneys
Our firm offers the opportunity, flexibility, and resources to advance your legal niche or expand your legal practice. We are a mid-sized, quality-driven team, which is very attractive to most laterals or attorneys who have been practicing at larger firms or on their own. We support memberships in professional associations and will provide the tools you need to successfully transition your practice.
It is notable that many of our partners started their legal careers here, which reflects our firm’s investment in our attorneys and desire for them to stay for the entirety of their legal careers. Law Students
For 2L Law Students
Our firm offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through our Law Clerk Program. From civil to criminal, corporate or domestic, transactional and litigation, our Law Clerks will be exposed to a wide variety of practice areas. This involvement will include not just research and writing, but in-person experience supporting attorneys at hearings and depositions, closings or client meetings. We also understand and respect the importance of your continuing commitment to law school, so we offer a flexible part-time schedule during the school year, and full-time hours during the summer months. Our Law Clerks work from both our Chardon and downtown Cleveland office, providing greater exposure to all of our attorneys and practice areas.
Professional Staff
Our Professional Staff is integral to the success of our attorneys and our firm as a whole. We view our professional staff as an invaluable part of our firm and an attorney’s busy practice. Our team is highly qualified and driven to deliver excellent service to both our attorneys and clients. We work collaboratively to create and maintain an environment that is service driven and collegial.
