Heidi M. Cisan
Principal
Heidi, a resident of Chesterland, joined the firm in 1989 and became a Principal in 2001. She counsels clients on the broad range of issues that arise in trust and estate administration, guiding them through the probate and trust administration process. She is also experienced in the law relating to condominiums and homeowners associations, working with real estate developers on a variety of issues, including drafting the documents necessary to create residential and commercial condominium developments and cluster developments and to establish and operate condominium and other homeowners associations. Heidi’s professional networks include 30 years in the Geauga County Bar Association as past president and current executive committee member, and 12 years on the Ohio State Bar Association Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee as a past chairperson and a current member.
Of her practice, Heidi says, “People come to us with a problem that needs to be solved, or a goal they are trying to reach, and they usually have no idea where to start. The law provides a framework for resolving those issues. We explain that legal framework to our clients, then work with them to use that framework to achieve the best possible result for them.”
