With over 30 years of experience in the practice of family law, Ohio divorce attorney Tanja Holecek offers her clients personalized, compassionate assistance and guidance in pre-marital and post-marital issues, including divorce, dissolution, child support and spousal support, and other sensitive family law matters. Tanja also represents clients in cases involving children's issues, including child support, custody, and visitation matters for unwed parents.

While Tanja has extensive experience in the litigation of complex family law cases, she firmly believes in the utilization of creative divorce resolution methods (including the collaborative divorce model and mediation). Tanja has successfully completed Professional Mediation Training provided by the Ohio Supreme Court, including Specialized Family and Divorce Mediation Training. She has fully satisfied the requirements established by the Supreme Court of Ohio Dispute Resolution Section under Rule 16 of the Rules of Superintendence to serve as a domestic relations and family law mediator in all Ohio Courts. In addition, Tanja has extensive experience in guiding clients through the "no court" option of collaborative divorce.

Tanja is a past member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals and served on the Board of Directors of the Up Side of Downs, a 50l(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing support, education, and advocacy for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

Tanja has been a featured speaker at the annual Ohio State Bar Association program, "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do: Introduction to Domestic Relations Law and Practice." She also provides customized legal workshops to professional athletes offering guidance and insight in all areas of family law.
